Event Description
It was reported that a dissection occurred.During percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (ptca), a 3.00 x 24 promus premier select was deployed to treat a lesion located in the left circumflex.A type b dissection was noticed at the distal edge of the stent which caused slow flow in the vessel.Another drug eluting stent was used to cover the dissection.The procedure was completed and the patient fully recovered.
