Event Description
Physician attempted to use an impact admiral 250mm drug coated balloon during treatment of patients superficial femoral artery (sfa).It is reported that balloon deflation difficulties occurred.Physician had hawked and always used a spider.Nothing seemed out of the ordinary with the package or prep of the balloon.The balloon fully deflated for removal after approx.2 min, using extra negative pressure with a 60 cc syringe.Procedure completed.No patient symptoms or complications associated with this event.
