Event Description
On (b)(6) 2023, the patient was treated for an abdominal aortic aneurysm.The physician implanted a gore® excluder® conformable aaa endoprosthesis.The physician then reconstrained the device to move it to a slightly different location, and deployed again.The physician then decided to reconstrain a second time, but the device remained deployed.Multiple attempts were made to reconstrain the device, but to no effect.It was decided that the location was fine, and deployment was completed.When the physician went to remove the delivery catheter, the constraining wire remained in the delivery catheter.The delivery catheter will be returned for evaluation.The patient tolerated the procedure.
