The device was returned to olympus for evaluation and the customer's allegation was able to be confirmed.During the device evaluation, it was observed that the probe body was damaged in the middle of the probe.Upon further inspection, that it was observed that the unit failed to display the ultrasound image, and that there was a bubble near the probe tip.The investigation is ongoing.A supplemental report will be submitted upon completion of the investigation.
