It was reported that the patient's "heart was not beating good enough and they didn't replace it." the caller stated the "battery was out." the patient passed away.

Event Description
|
It was further reported by the follow up clinic that the cause of the patient's death was unknown and there were no issues noted with the battery on the patient's last interrogation.It was also noted that they did not suspect the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) system caused or contributed to the patient's death.
