Event Description
It was reported that this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) had reached a battery status indicator of explant.The battery status indicator four months previous indicated ten months remaining to explant.The explant indicator was found to be due to extended charge times.Technical services discussed, and device replacement was scheduled.Currently, evidence suggests the device remains in service.No adverse patient effects were reported.
