Event Description
|
Additional information was received from the healthcare provider (hcp), via the manufacturer¿s representative (rep), who reported the patient was experiencing a shocking sensation near the neurostimulator site, so they went to the programming clinic for troubleshooting. The hcp noted the patient had recently discontinued their gabapentin which was thought to possibly be related to what the patient was experiencing.Impedances were measures in multiple positions with normal results and the symptom couldn¿t be reproduced and therefore no further interventions were taken as the issue was noted to be resolved. If the issue happened again the hcp told the patient to report back.
