It was reported that this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) exhibited longevity changes.The remaining battery was at 7.5 years in february and dropped to 6.5 years in a 3 months time period.Additionally, data issues were also noted.It was unclear to the health care professional (hcp) if the lead trends data and threshold impedance signals stopped at any time.Boston scientific technical services (ts) was consulted and discussed it was possible the device had a reset if all trend data was missing.The hcp stated that data will be sent to be able to perform analysis, however, this was not concreted.No adverse patient effects were reported.At this time, this device remains in service.
