Event Description
It was reported by the patient¿s partner that the patient is not feeling well and has been stumbly and dizzy and one day was unable to walk.Approximately four days later, the patient reported that they have had three transmissions indicating vastly different information in a few months time span regarding the recommended replacement time (rrt) of their cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d).The patient reports that their crt-d did not alarm when it was supposed to for reaching rrt.The patient¿s partner noted that the crt-d has since been ¿silenced¿.It was also reported that the remote monitor was not working.No troubleshooting indicated.The crt-d remains in use.The remote monitor remained in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
