Event Description
It was reported to philips that the plastic cover of the procedure light's arm was loose and needed to be re-attached.The device was in clinical use at the time of the event.No harm to the patient or user was reported.A philips field service engineer (fse) visited the site and reattached the procedure light¿s plastic cover.The device was returned to expected functionality.

Philips has investigated this complaint.According to the information provided, the issue was observed during a planned treatment.The treatment continued as planned and the issue had no impact on the treatment time.A philips field service engineer (fse) inspected the system onsite and confirmed that the reported problem.Troubleshooting actions determined that the plastic cover for the surgical light in the room was hit by the stand and the cover came off.The fse reattached the plastic cover and tested the movements of the exam light arm.After reattaching the cover, the system was returned to use in good working order.The codes were updated based on the investigation outcome.
