Event Description
The customer reported the lens of the evis exera iii colonovideoscope, did not rinse and was always blurry.The issue was found during a procedure.There were no reports of patient or user harm associated with this event.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
This supplemental report is to inform that upon further review, this is not a reportable malfunction.The initial medwatch reported the subject device did not rinse and was always blurry; however; per the legal manufacturer, there is no potential for this issue to cause or contribute to death or serious injury if the malfunction were to recur.
