Event Description
According to the reporter, during laparoscopic cholecystectomy, at cystic artery ligation, when the surgeon tried to fire the device, the clip did not close normal.The doctor tried to fire again but the device had the same trouble.The handle could no longer be squeezed as well before all clips were used.Another device was used to resolve the issue.There was no patient injury.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
