Event Description
It was reported that the device was not heating "quick" enough.Patient involvement unknown.

Other, other text: h3.Device evaluated by manufacturer and h6.Evaluation codes: updated.One device was received.Per visual inspection, the ground wire secured to the back panel had been pinched between the enclosure and back panel causing a tear in the insulation.Return tube had a crack in it.Tower was slightly out of calibration.The air detector door assembly had a rusty hinge making it hard to open.The top key that indicates when the air detector door is open did not work and seemed to be stuck.Per functional testing, the device warmed up as intended within the cold start test time limits and was in line with specifications.The complaint was not confirmed.The product's history records were reviewed and there were no non-conformances nor service-related issues that would have resulted in the reported complaint.Replaced the air detector door, cleaned, and replaced the springs on the sticky key.Replaced damaged ground wire, return tube, fan guard and o-rings per preventative maintenance (pm) and calibrated the device.The device passed all functional and delivery tests.
