Event Description
It was reported the pump was not functioning.It sounded like the pump was running, but there was no flow.The display showed that the temperature dropped and then quickly returned.They were unable to calibrate the display.Patient involvement is unknown.

D4.Udi, d10.Device available for evaluation, h3.Device evaluated by manufacturer and h6.Evaluation codes: updated.D3, g1,2 email is: (b)(6).One device was received with the enclosure having some kind of black dye on the right side, front cover global display was dented, printed circuit board (pcb) missing a light emitting diode (led).Per functional testing, the pump was not circulating.The temperature would not rise.The display could not be calibrated, it stayed at 34.6.The complaint was confirmed.The root cause was a faulty pump and pcb.The product's history records were reviewed and there were no non-conformances nor service-related issues that would have resulted in the reported complaint.No action taken due to the condition of the device.It was deemed beyond economical repair and was scrapped.
