It was reported by the manufacturer representative (rep) that a suspected over-discharged implantable neurostimulator ins due to the patient losing the recharger insr and the patient programmer pp about two years ago.Ts reviewed the physician recharge mode (prm) steps to begin charging the ins and the information to order a replacement insr and handset/communicator.

Additional information received from the manufacturer¿s representative (rep), which was confirmed with the healthcare provider (hcp), reported after the fifth unsuccessful pmr, the patient and hcp decided to replace the neurostimulator.Surgery was scheduled for october 3rd.

Event Description

Additional information received from the manufacturer¿s representative (rep), which was confirmed with the healthcare provider (hcp), reported the cause for the overdischarge was the patient being in overdischarge for over two years.The surgeon decided to replace the neurostimulator due to five unsuccessful attempt to enter in physician reset mode.The hospital requested to keep the device.
