Event Description

It was reported that when the patient was having a magnetic resonance imaging (mri), the leadless implantable pulse generator (ipg) exhibited difficulty maintaining telemetry with the mobile programmer application.One week later, when attempting to put the ipg into surescan mode and interrogate, a diagnostic error message was displayed on the mobile programmer.An attempt was made to re-establish telemetry and the ipg was able to be programmed into surescan mode during the second interrogation.The leadless ipg remains in use.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

It was further reported that the patient passed away approximately two weeks later.It was noted patient was in a hospice prior their passing.Additional information related to the circumstances of death were requested and not received.
