Event Description
Medtronic received information that 2 years post implant of this 33mm mitral annuloplasty band, it was explanted and replaced with a 34mm annuloplasty band. The reason for the replacement was reported as likely a technical failure as the ring tore out in the p1 area.It was also reported that "the ring was fine".No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
