Event Description
Information received by medtronic indicated that the customer experienced hyperglycemia with a blood glucose value up to 500 mg/dl.Troubleshooting was performed and found that the customer did not change the needle after each injection.The cartridge and the cartridge holder were wet.No further patient complications were reported.The customer will continue the use of the insulin pen and will not be returned for analysis.
