Event Description
Philips received a complaint by the customer on the v60 indicating that while the device is plugged in the battery is not charging.It was reported there was no patient involvement at the time the issue was discovered.The customer evaluated the device with the assistance of the remote service engineer (rse) and confirmed the reported problem.The rse had the customer check voltage from orange and brown wire.Customer states not seeing 24v.The customer then changed ac power cord.Still not seeing 24v.Customer removed shroud from power supply, customer tested brown and blue wire coming from ac inlet with power cord attached.He verified there was 120 ac volts going into the power supply and 0 dc volts from power supply to the pm pcba.The rse recommended to replace the power supply and ac inlet.Parts ids were provided to the customer for the repair of the device.The customer replaced power supply to resolve the reported issue.The device passed required performance verification tests per philips standards and was returned to service.The investigation concludes that no further action is required at this time.If additional information is received the complaint file will be reopened.
