Event Description
The hospital reported a patient was connected to an aisys cs2 when it was alleged that the patient desaturated.It was reported that there was a drop in inspiratory and expiratory fio2 with no corresponding change to device settings.There was no patient sequelae.Ge healthcare will submit a follow-up report when the investigation has been completed.

Ge healthcare's (gehc) investigation has been completed.The gehc's field engineer completed a review of the system logs and determined there was no malfunction of a gehc device.In addition, further data received revealed there was no patient injury.The end user declined to provide further information regarding the event.Based on the information available at this time, there was no reportable event.
