Event Description
Philips received a complaint from the customer, reporting that the v60 ventilator could not be changed to other modes.There was no patient involvement when the issue occurred.No patient or user harm reported.A philips remote service engineer (rse) noted that the customer was unable to change modes of ventilation.The customer stated that they were unable to change the device out of high flow therapy (hft) mode.The rse informed the customer the process of exiting hft.It was then reported that the customer was able to put device into standby and exit hft mode.The device was now fully operational and the customer would educate the staff on how to exit mode.The system meets the specification for the performed service and is returned to use.
