It was reported that during a stent placement procedure of a highly calcified target lesion, there was a resistance felt upon the device was inserting into the sheath and the edge of the stent was allegedly peeled off.It was further reported that the physician repaired the device and attempted to re-insert, but the stent was allegedly dislodged.The procedure was completed by using another device.There was no reported patient injury.
