|
Philips received a complaint from the service engineer, reporting that the v60 ventilator had a battery that would not charge.There was no patient involvement when the issue occurred.No patient or user harm reported.A philips field service engineer (fse) evaluated the device and observed that the battery would not charge.The fse then replaced the battery to resolve the issue.

H10: the suspected battery was returned to philips, and the failure investigation was performed.The technician reported the following conclusion/root cause, "product investigation lab (pil) is able to confirm the complaint.The battery indicates that it is at 100% capacity, therefore unable to charge, while at a lower voltage than the minimum acceptance criteria.Battery also failed to provide power after removing ac (alternating current) power.
