Medwatch: mw5146900.A facility reported a perforator got stuck during the second burr hole, while lodging the perforator in the patient's skull.The perforator could not be manually removed and had to be cut out.The procedure was completed with a replacement product available.No fragments left inside the patient and there was a procedure delay of approximately 45 minutes to call up another drill.The condition of the patient is stable, no damage to the dura mater or tissue of the patient during the removal of the perforator bit out of the skull (broken into two pieces).
