Customer reported that there was vacuum loss during the capsulotomy incision portion of the catalys procedure due to patient involvement.Capsular disc was removed successfully in the operating room.During the chop portion of the cataract surgery a posterior capsular tear occurred, anterior vitrectomy was performed.Physician stated that surgery was difficult to perform due to patient's floppy iris syndrome, and did not associate the capsular tear with the catalys capsulotomy due to the tear being posterior in its location with an intact anterior capsule.Physician elected to not implant an intraocular lens at the time of surgery.No further information was provided.
