Event Description
|
Information was received from a patient's representative regarding an implanted neurostimulator (ins).The caller reported that the patient had issues during the implantation of the implantable neurostimulator (ins).As a result, the caller stated that the patient ended up with less than a desirable outcome from the ins.The caller stated, "it kind of cognitively set him back." the caller mentioned that the patient's healthcare provider has always done the adjustments for the ins.

Additional information received from the consumer reported it was unknown what led to the issues during implant.The patient was now undergoing different psychotropic drug trials as the issue hadn¿t been resolved as they were still experiencing cognitive impairment.
