Event Description
|
It was reported that the patient presented to the emergency department (ed) with unspecified symptoms.It was reported that the implantable pulse generator (ipg) was possibly at end of service, and exhibited loss of capture, and a power-on reset had previously occurred.It was also reported that the ipg was unable to be interrogated in the ed using the programmer.The ipg was explanted and replaced.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

It was further reported that the patient exhibited a fall and bradycardia but the symptoms were not linked to the ipg.

|
