It was reported that stent migration and reduced blood flow occurred. The 80% stenosed target lesion was located in the mildly tortuous and severely calcified left external iliac artery (eia). An 8 x 40 x 130 innova stent was advanced for treatment and deployed. However, when withdrawing the long sheath, it was found that the stent had migrated to the distal end of the left eia, and the lesion segment could not get effective blood flow.A non-boston scientific stent was used to support the stenosis segment of the lesion and the distal migrated stent was fully apposed using a balloon. There were no complications reported and the patient status was stable.
