Event Description
It was reported that during a radiofrequency (rf) ablation procedure, the steering mechanism broke. the case was completed with radiofrequency. it was later reported that the patient presented to the emergency room five days following the procedure with ongoing mild pain and bruising on the right side of the groin.An ultrasound was performed and a complete right common femoral artery pseudoaneurysm thrombosis was confirmed.The patient subsequently received a thrombin injection.The patient is a participant in a clinical study.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
