Event Description
Philips received a complaint by the customer on the v60 indicating that the device will not go into standby.It was reported there was no patient involvement at the time the issue was discovered.The customer evaluated the device with the assistance of the remote service engineer (rse) and confirmed the reported problem.The customer found that average air slpm is showing -1.1 and bounces between -0.9 and -1.3.Customer attempted to let unit run overnight to see if this would change any of the reading, device is still showing same results.The customer attempted to blow out flow sensor assembly and still getting same results.The rse informed the customer that the next steps per the manufacturer's recommendation would be to replace the flow sensor assembly.Provided parts id for a replacement flow sensor assembly.The customer replaced flow sensor assembly to resolve the reported issue.The device passed required performance verification tests per philips standards and was returned to service.The investigation concludes that no further action is required at this time.If additional information is received the complaint file will be reopened.
