Event Description
Information received by medtronic indicated that the customer experienced hyperglycemia with a blood glucose value of 24.3 mmol/l and current blood glucose value: 13 mmol/l.Troubleshooting was performed and found that the customer was hospitalized and treated with intravenous insulin infusion.The customer reported diabetes ketones, feeling sick, headache, tried as symptoms related high blood glucose level.The insulin pump was used within 48 hours and the auto mode feature was not active at the time of the event.No further patient complications were reported.Its unknown whether the customer will continue using the reservoir.The reservoir will not be returned for analysis.
