The customer reported getting a lot of intermittent artifacts in their electrocardiogram (ecg) on this unit.The customer has tried different leads and other receiver cards; however, the issue remained.The customer switched teles in the same area and the artifacts went away.The customer will send in the unit to be exchanged.There was no patient injury reported.Nihon kohden continues to investigate the reported event.Nihon kohden will submit a supplemental report in accordance with 21 cfr section 803.56 when additional information becomes available.
