It was reported that, during the implant procedure of this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d), the patient went asystolic for five seconds.The physician indicated that there were miscommunications when hooking up the leads to this crt-d and where backup pacing was coming from.This crt-d was successfully implanted.No adverse patient effects were reported.
