|
It was reported that following a non-device related surgery, the patients ipg was unable to be turned on and was unable to connect with the remote control or clinicians programmer.It was also noted that the patients right lead had migrated.The patient underwent a revision procedure wherein the ipg and lead were replaced.The patient was doing well postoperatively and unable to returned explanted device due to facility policy.Per the physicians implant manual, electrocautery is a known source of high voltage transient signal and warns against the use of electrocautery.
