Event Description
|
Medtronic received information regarding an imaging system being used during a sacroiliac and thoracolumbar procedure. It was reported that during a case, the image from the imaging system did not transfer to the navigation system and they were unable to go back into 2d mode after re-aligning the imaging system. The site confirmed that the 3d image did not include the nav tag. they removed the imaging system from around the patient whenever not using it directly for scanning, so they had to move it back around the patient when wanting to take 2d images again. The navigation system also showed a constant "acquiring images" when the imaging system was clearly not sending images to the navigation system. after rebooting the images transferred to the navigation system without issue and the case could continue. There was a patient present.
