Event Description
|
It was reported a patient underwent a idiopathic ventricular tachycardia procedure (idvt) cardiac ablation procedure with a qdot-micro, bi-directional, d-f curve, c3, split handle and patient patient passed away at the very end of the procedure.There were no injuries, procedural complications, and no steam pops during the procedure.There was a slight blood pressure drop during the procedure.The medical intervention provided was cpr and medication to attempt to resuscitate the patient but that it did not work.The physician believed that the patient passed away due to being very sick to begin with.The patient went into kidney failure and their heart gave out.
