It was reported that stent dislodgement occurred. The target lesion was located in the mildly tortuous and moderately calcified left anterior descending artery.A 3.00 x 48mm synergy drug-eluting stent was advanced but failed to cross the lesion. However, when the stent was removed, it caught on calcium, and the distal portion of the stent pulled off the delivery balloon but remained on the catheter. The procedure was completed with a non-boston scientific device, and no patient complications were reported.
