Event Description
According to the reporter, during a colectomy, when the circular stapler was removed, it did not come off the colon.The staple formation was good and the staple line was complete.It was noted that the anvil was bent and sizers were used.The surgery was extended by more than 30 minutes and the incision was extended due to the product problem.The user managed to remove the stapler after multiple maneuvers.
