Event Description

It was reported that an ncircle tipless stone extractor's basket would not open during an ureteroscopy procedure.The device was tested prior to use and functioned properly.The device was inserted through an unspecified scope, and when opened, the basket did not deploy.A second basket was opened to complete the procedure.At this time, no adverse effects or additional procedures for the patient were reported due to this occurrence.Additional information regarding the event and patient outcome has been requested but is currently unavailable.
