It was reported that this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) potentially delivered inappropriate anti-tachycardia pacing (atp) and shock therapy for a supraventricular tachycardia (svt) across multiple episodes. It was noted that the physician called the arrhythmia a ventricular tachycardia (vt), however, technical services (ts) and the boston scientific representative thought it was svt.Ts stated that therapy does not appear to have ever exhausted therapy, and all the detections were disabled for some reason. The device remains in use.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
