It was reported that the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) delivered anti-tachycardia pacing (atp) for what appeared to be conducted atrial fibrillation (af).The atp accelerated the arrhythmia to ventricular tachycardia (vt), and the crt-d delivered two appropriate shocks before the rhythm slowed and eventually returned to conducted af.Technical services (ts) was contacted, and ts discussed programming options.The crt-d system remains in service.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
