Event Description
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins).It was reported that patient is working on getting his core back on his body and he is doing some running.Patient is looking for a back brace to keep the stimulator from moving in the pocket while he is running and setting off electric pulses like shocking.Patient clarified he is feeling shocking while he is running.  patient stated he is feeling the shocking near the connectors at the ins and leads for the past 3 months.Patient reported he is feeling like the ins is loose inside the pocket.Patient stated the shocking sensation is in the left leg to the feet and it feels like shocking in a different way than normal therapy feels.Patient service specialist (pss) asked if patient has had any weight loss since implant patient stated he has lost about 30 lbs. patient stated his healthcare provider (hcp) has been recommending that he have the system replaced - pss suggested that patient have the ins position checked by the hcp.
