Event Description
Literature was reviewed regarding catheter ablation to treat atrioventricular node reentrant tachycardia (avnrt).The authors describe bed patients who experienced procedure-related transient first, second, or third atrioventricular block (avb).One patient required a permanent pacemaker for complete avb.The status of the catheters is unknown.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
