It was reported that this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) stored atrial tachy response (atr) and signal artifact monitor (sam) episodes containing noise with oversensing during an ablation procedure. One sam episode had a high out-of-range pace impedance measurement greater than 3,000 ohms on sensor right ventricular (rv) tip to can, and a right atrial (ra) impedance measurement of "noise." the other sam episode disabled the respiratory rate trend (rrt) feature. This crt-d remains in service. No adverse patient effects were reported, however it was noted that the patient had true atrial fibrillation (af).
