The manufacturer was contacted in reference to a dreamstation 2 advanced auto cpap device.The manufacturer received information about the device having air pressure issue unlike before.The patient stated that there was low pressure when he woke up from nap and cannot breathe.During troubleshoot, all the supplies - tubing, filter, and reservoir have been replaced but did not help the pressure.Air pressure was increased while on call with the patient, but it did not make a difference, and could the air pressure be heard, there was still a minimal air pressure.After troubleshooting was completed, it was concluded that the device was not working for the patient to receive therapy, so a new device is ordered.The device is within warranty.There was no medical intervention required by the patient.The manufacturer's investigation is ongoing.A follow-up report will be submitted when the manufacturer's investigation is complete.
