Event Description
It was reported that the implantable pulse generator (ipg) exhibited a pacing failure on the electrocardiogram (ecg) monitor.It was further reported that the right ventricular (rv) lead exhibited undefined high impedance.A disconnection issue was suspected between the ipg and rv lead.The ipg and rv lead remains in use.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

Medtronic submits this report to comply with fda regulations 21 cfr parts 4 and 803.Medtronic has made reasonable efforts to provide as much relevant information as is available to the company as of the submission date of this report.This report does not constitute an admission or a conclusion by fda, medtronic, or its employees that the device, medtronic, or its employee caused or contributed to the event described in the report.Any required fields that are unpopulated are blank because the information is currently unknown or unavailable.Medtronic will submit a supplemental report if additional relevant information becomes known.

It was further reported that the ipg and rv lead were programmed off and replaced with a leadless pacemaker.
