Event Description
It was reported that a dissection occurred.The 90% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and mildly calcified left anterior descending artery (lad).After deployment of a 3.00 x 32 mm synergy stent at nominal pressure, a dissection was noted and per the physician, was caused by the tortuosity.The dissection was covered with a 2.75 x 12 mm synergy stent and the procedure was completed successfully.No further patient complications reported.
