Event Description
It was reported that the patient presented in the emergency room and the pulse generator was in backup vvi mode.Interrogation of the device was intermittent.The device was explanted.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
All information provided by manufacturer, no medwatch form was received.Evaluation description: final analysis found that the pulse generator exhibited backup vvi mode due to a single flipped bit in the produce code.After replacing the battery, the product code was downloaded and normal function resumed.
