Event Description
Customer reported receiving erratic readings on their adc blood glucose meter.Customer reported receiving readings of 25 mg/dl, 147 mg/dl and 221 mg/dl within 10 minutes.The results when plotted on a parkes error grid fell into the "c" zone showing the difference in values to be clinically significant.There was no report of death, serious injury, or mistreatment associated with this event.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
The product has been requested back for investigation.A follow- up report will be submitted once additional information is obtained.All pertinent information available to abbott diabetes care has been submitted.
