Event Description
|
Litigation papers allege the patient experienced debilitating pain, discomfort, and soreness, in the area of her hip implant, thereby, negatively affecting her ability to perform activities of daily living.Additionally alleged friction and wear between the cobalt-chromium metal head and cobalt-chromium metal liner caused toxic cobalt-chromium metal ions and particles to be released into the patient's blood, tissue and bone surrounding the implant.
